What I Do
I feel like community matters, so I spend my time helping people build them. Whether you’re building a cohort-based program, a membership club, or a community for your users, I have experience starting and scaling communities from cosy-to-colossal.
I love to work with people who are building intentional communities focused on self-leadership, relationships, learning, or wellbeing.
These topics light me up, and I thrive in co-creating spaces where people can grow and learn together.

Nervous System Mastery
Ocean takes care of so much of the operations that my only real role during the cohort is showing up to teach live sessions and answering student questions in Circle. She’s done a phenomenal job through her rare skill of being hyper-personable, organised, and curious.

The Merit Club
Having Ocean on the team to look after the operations and community engagement was fundamental as we made high-level decisions about the business direction. Her super organised brain and easy-to-get-on-with nature were a wonderful asset to our small team.

Beyond Connections
Bringing Ocean on to manage the program and community for our inaugural program was a major value-add. She brings a wealth of knowledge and resources to the table, which was useful for Keith Ferrazzi and I who are more familiar with in-person programs.
how i work
Even though all communities are different, there’s a few things which you can almost guarantee will need to happen in each one:
  • Vision, intention, and current setup assessments.
  • New design, build, and implementation activities.
  • Facilitation, moderation, and member management.
  • Short-term and long-term engagement activities with members.
  • Tracking and evaluating meaningful progress metrics.
The magic begins when we start with where you are now, and then move toward where you (and your people) you want to go.
Part of me can't believe the two of you managed this whole thing, WELL DONE. I've been inspired to maybe even leap into creating some online learning cohorts myself after this experience. This was a wonderful experience with amazing energy through and through, I felt so seen, welcomed, and cared for. Such immense appreciation, this is super important work in the world.

A lot of love went into this I know, and it was useful. You were wonderful hosts and made everyone feel safe, welcome and included.

Ocean - Thank you for always making sure to answer all my questions and making sure I knew class was coming up and the reminders of what to expect and where to access the content. Overall a truly amazing experience.

You were both amazing and this course is very rich. I was amazed by the amount and quality of the material.
Vikas K.
I really, really appreciated Ocean reaching out 1-1, that was amazing.

Thanks so much for an incredible learning journey, that is only just the beginning. I'm hugely grateful!

Kudos to Ocean for engaging with everyone regularly and dealing with what I imagine is an onslaught of messages and notifications.

Ocean: You are a master at running the show and making every student feel like they're the only one you're focused on. I have no idea how you do your magic, but I have no doubt that it is magic. Thank you.
Lyssa M.
Thank you both. Love you interactions with me individually and with the group. It felt like you were always available.
Chris S.
Really well done! As someone who made a living teaching people how to run these kind of experiences, I can honestly say this is one of the best I've been in - so intentional, thoughtful and practical. And you created a warm, safe place for people to explore it all!

I thought you did a great job designing the course, running the sessions with so many people! Not an easy feat. Also did a great job managing the circle community.

Thank you Ocean for managing this wonderful experience with such care. I truly don't feel ready to part ways. The insights and growth I've gained here will stay with me always.

Ocean, thank you for making Curious Conversations a reality. I had a life-changing conversation with a fellow cohort member, and made some great connections through participating. The conversations also helped me feel a deeper connection to the course and the group overall. Thank you also for doing such an amazing job creating the appropriate set + setting for incredible vulnerability, sharing, and transformations to take place between a group of strangers :)
Brian G.
Really admire the design and administration of the course. Very thoughtful. Very professional. Very inviting. Very thought provoking. Lots of gratitude to you.

Ocean does such a good job of explaining any jargony words in the chat and sharing links to resources. I like how you include all the books/links referenced in the talk in the email that goes out and in the session notes.

Well done, well organized, enjoyable for even a 50 yr veteran of personal growth shit

We need so much more of all of this! The quality of the content, live sessions, Q&A's is impressive - and this comes from a guy who typically doesn't give kudos, and, in case you haven't noticed, I'm raving about this.

Thank you for everything you have created here, and for acting with such care for each individual as well as the community.

About me
With over 10 years experience working in operations, programme and community management roles, I’ve led (and delivered) successful projects across healthcare, wellness, digital product, social impact, innovation and marketing.
After reading Priya Parker’s “The Art of Gathering” during the pandemic and finding belonging in my chosen communities, I’ve committed to helping people find theirs.
I’m personally fascinated by the intersection between body, mind, and movement, especially how play and movement shape can help re-shape who we are. When I have the time, I like to explore the latest in psychology, neuroscience, self-leadership frameworks, and relational practices.
People tend to describe me as a really happy and smiley person.
